Handy Extensions is a collection of lightweight browser extensions designed to enhance your productivity and browsing experience. We focus on creating simple, focused tools that solve specific problems without adding clutter or complexity.

Are your extensions free to use?

Yes, all our extensions are currently free to use. We may introduce premium features in the future, but our core functionality will always remain free of charge.

Which browsers are supported?

Our extensions are compatible with all Chromium-based browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Opera. We're working on Firefox support for some extensions, but it's not available yet.

How do I install your extensions?

You can install our extensions directly from the Chrome Web Store. Simply visit the store page for the extension you want, click "Add to Chrome," and follow the prompts. Detailed installation instructions are available in our documentation.

Tab Copier Questions

How does Tab Copier work?

Tab Copier generates a unique 8-digit code that represents your open tabs. When you enter this code on another device, the extension fetches the tab data and opens those tabs in your browser. The data is encrypted end-to-end for security.

Do I need to create an account to use Tab Copier?

No, Tab Copier works without any accounts or logins. The 8-digit code system allows you to transfer tabs without needing to sign in or create an account.

How long do Tab Copier codes last?

Tab Copier codes expire after 24 hours for security reasons. If you need to access your tabs after that time, you'll need to generate a new code.

Is my browsing data secure when using Tab Copier?

Yes, Tab Copier uses end-to-end encryption to secure your tab data. We can't access your browsing history or tab content. The data is transmitted securely and temporarily stored only for the purpose of transferring tabs.

Privacy & Security

Do you collect user data?

We collect minimal data and only what's necessary for functionality. We don't track your browsing habits or sell any information to third parties. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

What permissions do your extensions require?

We request only the minimum permissions needed for each extension to function. For example, Tab Copier needs access to your tabs to transfer them, but doesn't need access to your browsing history or other sensitive data.

Are your extensions open source?

Currently, our extensions are not open source, but we're considering making portions of our codebase available in the future for transparency and community contributions.

Troubleshooting

The extension isn't working. What should I do?
